Mazen has a broad multicultural background. He has lived and studied in Canada, Europe and the Middle East. He graduated with an MSc in Finance at BI School of Economics, Oslo in 2020.
His master thesis explores the predictive power of IPO volumes on market returns. During his master’s studies he participated in the CFA Institute Research Challenge 2020, where his team became EMEA Champions and participated in the Global Finals of the Research challenge, where they finished among the top 5 out of 1500 participating schools. Mazen was hired by Connectum in 2020. He is working closely with the firm’s partners and clients. His main responsibility is to contribute to the assessment of clients’ goals, needs and assumptions and drafting investment strategies and recommendations to, and follow up of, Expats & Internationals and their portfolios.
