Nils-Odd Tønnevold has over 30 years of international experience as an independent financial and strategic advisor.
About Nils-Odd
He has a degree in economics from Heriot-Watt in Edinburgh, where he finished in the top ten in 1990. This was despite a collision that cost him both legs and ten months in hospital during his studies. He holds an MBA from the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow and was awarded an honorary doctorate from Heriot-Watt in 2011 for extraordinary achievement and innovation in the field of investment advice and for his efforts as an inspiration to other leg amputees. In addition to his expertise from years of financial advisory work, he has valuable experience from a number of Norwegian and international board positions, both voluntary and in companies. Nils-Odd was also Corporate Finance Advisor to Edinburgh Fund Managers plc for seven years, establishing them in Norway. See CV and video clip for more information.
Nils-Odd has extensive experience as an advisor from Norway, and the UK where he lived for 12 years. He advises owners, entrepreneurs, independent professionals and foundations.
