With a father who ran a well-regarded independent financial adviser firm in the Northwest of England, Richard was introduced to investing while he was still in short trousers.
After ten years as an investment expert for amongst others J Rothschild International Assurance and Coutts Private Bank in Geneva, he founded Connectum together with Nils-Odd in 2002. Richard has a total of 25 years of experience as a client adviser.
Besides spending time with his family , Richard spends most of his time either participating in or watching sport.
Richard is passionate about helping customers get the very most out of their their financial plans. One of his greatest strengths is helping people develop clear, comprehensible strategies – and he is not afraid of contradicting a customer’s ideas if he thinks they are detrimental to the customer’s interests.
As a self- confessed “investment nerd” Richard is responsible for Connectum’s investment philosophy and is among other things a co-author of the book The 7 Secrets of Money – The Insider’s guide to investment success.
